I am in Canada from last 6 months. My wife died while giving birth to child. Now, I want to sponsor my son.
Can some one please let me know that which forms I have to fill to bring my son.i.e As I dont have any spouse then will this come under sponsoring member of a family or some thing else?Huh
Do I have to sign on the forms of my son ( as he is just few months old)?
Do I have to fill Im0008 (Background/Decleration) for myself as well to let them know that my wife is died?
Thanks in advance for advice.
Regards.

I am sorry about your wife.  The forms you need can be found here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp

I assume you are already PR in which case you do not fill out a back ground check.  Your son also doesn't need one because he is so young.  In your information as the sponsor, you fill out your marital status as widowed and the date of your wives death.

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, I am a PR card holder.

I was bit confused in the forms given on the website of CIC.

Do I have to fill Imm008_1e, Im008egen, IMM1344EA, Imm1344EB, IMM5406E, IMM5409E ( I think that I can skip this form), IMM5481E, IMM5490E( Can I skip this) , and medical condition forms.

Yes, 5409 and 5490, you can skip.  You can see better on the check list at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5491E.PDF which forms you need.  Also look for visa office specific forms towards the bottom of the page at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp
