Need some help here.  I am a landed PR but haven't moved my goods yet.  All paperwork is in order for when I do bring everything over.

However I was told at the border that I would need to have a fumigation certificate for my mattress and box spring.  However by my checking it seems that doesn't apply if it is part of your goods arriving as initial settlement in Canada.

Could someone who truly knows the answer or has first hand experience please help me out.  I am bringing everything in to Canada on the 17th of October!

Thanks

Scott

Call the border crossing where you intend to enter directly, they can tell you better than anyone else what to expect when you get there.
