Bringing my Fiance' to Canada

Basically, I want to marry my finace' in Jan I'm a Canadian Citzen and she's a US citzen. What I'm curious about is what type of proof would we need to show we're a ligetimate coupe? We're unbelievably in love, and I know after we're married we can apply for the spousal visa and she can apply at for PR status.
