Hi!

I have been in Montreal for three weeks, on a work permit for 1 year with my fiance who got a job at Concordia university.

I am having frustrations with getting my car legal. I've been told I must get Quebec plates, change my license, re-register my car, and get Canadian insurance. It's driving me crazy!

Does anyone have any advice? I'm tempted to just take my car back and keep it with family in the US to avoid the trouble. But his job might be extended beyond 1 year and then it would be good to have it. I can't decide.

Thanks for any advice.
