Nothing new then. It is dated Feb 2011.

Almost all the people here know the pending changes in the FSW point system. The question is when will the CIC put it into place?

I don't think it is important to know which if his relatives work in CHC London, however, I strongly recommend if he could mention the source of the information just for the people to more believe in it.

I guess by the 1st of July 2011. With the new list coming out at that time i also guess it will accompany the changes.

Dear all,

CIC is going to amend FSW points system either by April 2011 or June 2011.

CIC will not only extraordinary emphasize on Younger Immigrants (maximum 12 points at age below 35) & English or French Language Skills (maxixmum 20 points) but surprisingly reducing the Work Experience points (maxixmum 15 points) in new FSW points system.

Nectar

Lol.

Mr Nectar, this is not breaking news, they have been on about this since February (here are a few media links posted in February):

http://www.visabureau.com/canada/news/21-02-2011/new-canadian-immigration-proposal-to-focus-on-youth-and-tradespeople.aspx

Plus many other other websites have been reporting it for several months, and it has been posted several times on this forum, in fact.

What will your next "Breaking News" be, I wonder, that The Beatles have split up? Smiley

I think there isn't the remotest chance they will be APPLIED until 1st July 2011. They may officially announce them before then but I very much doubt they will come into force until the end of this fiscal year, and that the current 26-June-2010 to 30-June-2011 applicants will all be assessed under the same points and same criteria.

Ah ok. My apologies in that case. I just saw the "Breaking News" appear at the top of the thread.

Sorry for jumping to wrong conclusions.
