My fiance and I will be married next week. I am a Canadian citizen (and US, dual) and he is a US citizen. I live in Canada and he in the US. When he comes across the border next week and is asked the reason for his visit, should he mention that he is getting married or just coming for the Memorial Day weekend? He is only staying until Monday and will return to the US. TIA.

Be honest.  Always best.  I have been in the same situation and had no problems - no questions asked.

Thaniks. I think when we're in the "immigration mode" we try to make everything run as smoothly as possible. He's getting his medical done while he's here also (less than half the cost of his state) and once we receive the marriage certificate, the application is on its merry way.
