i had master degree in nigeria and applied for visa to study diploma in correctional techniques in a community college in canada. i was refused on the ground that i am not a bonafide student. please, i wish to know the possible reasons for the denial and what they mean by the word " bonafide". thank u.

"bonafide" means - authentic; true.

if denied because i was not a bonafide student, can i apply again the following year and what must i perfect? thank you.
