Blood Pressure Question, is this Normal for Canadian Immigration?

Guys,

10.6 for males between 30-40 and 9.5 for female between 30-40, is that Normal Blood pressure?

is that okay or would create some concerns for Canadian Immigration?

Hello,

You need to mention the actual numbers and not ratio, I.e 140/90...etc. Anyway, the limits defined by CIC are:
59 years of age or less: 140 / 90
60 years or over: 160/90

If, after three readings at rest, readings are higher then further blood tests are required like creatinine etc.

This is what we use in Europe or at least my local place, does any body know how to convert above Blood Pressure measures into American Standard such as 140/90?

I think the conversion using the above link is not correct. Your blood pressure readings should not be that low. Normal readings are in range of 120/80 based on age. Readings in 90/60 or below are low blood pressures and though low blood pressure are better than high blood pressure, however low blood pressure could be basis for further investigation by VO.

Like Kanamen said, if it is diastolic pressure, it is good.  You should also have another blood pressure reading (systolic pressure) coming in pair with diastolic pressure.  The systolic prssure is normally about 30 mmHg higher than diastolic pressure.

The equation is conversion from mm Hg into kilopascals by dividing by 7.5. To convert Kilopascals to mm Hg, multiply by 7.5.

Even though, the numbers Royal.Prince mentioned are really low!!

There should be no problem with the conversion.  The problem is that the pressure provided is confusing.

There is no need to worry about this now.  At the time of the medicals, the doctor will tell you if your blood pressure and everything else is ok.  If the blood pressure is out of range for immigration, your doctor will send you for further tests.

I had to do this myself as my blood pressure was a bit too high.  I had to see a specialist and get an electrocardiogram to prove that I did not have any heart problems.
