I'm confused about the country specific checklist for the Philippines. My wife's birth is late registered, but she got her NSO birth certificate last summer. Does she have to provide those additional documents mentioned below or not?:

IF.... Your or any of your dependent's birth is late registered or there is No Record of registration of birth with NSO.
THEN... Additional Original identity document must be submitted such as:
            . baptismal certificate
. permanent elementary and high school records
. voter's ID or voters certificate
            . old passport
. birth certificate issued by the Local Civil Registrar

Thanks in advance!

Don't quote me on this but I believe that that NSO birth certificate is fine without any further documents needed as long as it's an original on NSO paper.

For the example you provided my partners daughter is just 1 year old and there is no record of registration therefore we provided an original copy of her birth certificate issued by the local civil registrar.
