Hi...I had my newborn daughter's birth certificate from local municipal corporation office. The entire birth certificate is computer generated printout, but the name of my daughter is handwritten, as it was added later, since at the time of birth her name was not finalized. Now the officer in charge says that the name of the child is always handwritten only in this MC office. Also, it is handwritten in Hindi. Now I have to apply for passport and also send the birth certificate to CHC.  I want to know will this cause any problem for getting the passport and will CHC accept this.

Thanks

well for Passport it is ok. But for CHC level make the translation in english & provide them certified copy .

That will solve your problem.

It is pretty normal. You would not have any problem in getting passport and later on with your application with CHC. I had same situation and  I am through this process without any issue. For my kids the name part was blank.  You will have to send translated copy fo document since part of it is in Hindi.
