Hi all,

We are preparing the documents for submission and just discovered that the " Place of Birth" mentioned in the passport and the birth certificate are different.

Will this be a problem ? the place of birth is asked in many forms. or should i just not submit the BC, and use the passport, education certificates, ration card as proof ?

Or should we just go ahead and apply for another passport with the correct place of birth ?

I had the same issue and did not want to take changes as this one can play with our identity Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Please apply for a correction in your passport and then apply with your new passport only! All the papers that you submit has to complement each other and not be contradictory.

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.
