Biologists and related scientists eligibility

Dear All,

I am submitting this question on behlaf of a friend of mine who is willing to apply under the FSW program.
He has a work experience as a lecturer of biochemistry/chemistry for 6 years.

Is he eligible to apply under the "biologists and related scientists" category NOC 2121? If not, is there any other job group that would be more suitable for him?

I would be very grateful for any feedback on this.
