Hello Guys,

I badly needs advice from you experts....I have applied under skilled worker category from USA to New Delhi embassy.... two days back I received letter from New Delhi requesting to send RPRF fees, Passport, Medicals and India's address.... and today without thinking I send my passport with my uncle to India (with authorization letter) for stamping.... and I am yet to do my medicals in USA... I have an appointment with doctor tomorrow morning... and I am worried... so my question here to you guys,

Can I do my medical without original passport in my hand?

In one for the document I found out that if If no passport is available, provide an official identity document bearing a photo and the date of birth of the family member...!!
So is this true???

Waiting of your reply...!!

If you have the copies of your passport, that should work. I don't know about the states but here in my country it worked that way.

In USA, you should be okay in using your USA driving license as the identity proof.

milinddesai,

I have also sent my passport to India from US thru my friend and asked him to submit to VO in New Delhi. How do you plan to bring it back? Share your thoughts & let me know if you got PR visa stamping with dates.

TIA

Hi there,

I asked my friend to bring my PP with him... I gave him authorization letter to carry my passport across border....I got my PR but not sure about dates, as I didn't have my passport in my hands... I will let you know once I get my PP back...!!
