Dear All,

I am a PR since June 2004. I had been working as full-time employer for a Crown Company while in Canada, then gave birth to a child in August 2005 and left Canada in September 2005 while on maternity leave. My contract expired eventually on February 2006 (while still outside Canada).
So, does the maternity leave days spent outside Canada  (September '05 to February '06) count as days for which I satisfy my residency obligations?

I plan to return in Canada in August this year.

Thanks for any advice on this,

Olga

Nope.  You have to be employed on a full-time basis.
