Can we try to list down the websites that help us to be more informed about as new immigrants to Canada? If this discussion was already done (I am almost sure our champion members would have already a wonderful list handy), request to send me the discussion thread.
A few I know are
1. thestar.com - daily news/updates
2. yahoo.ca - daily news, finance
3. kijiji.ca - for apartments, houses, auto etc
4. Craigslist.ca- same as Kijiji
5.
http://www.mto.gov.on.ca/english/dandv/ - for Ontario ministry of transportation (related to all vehicle licensing and other driver related rules)
6. cic.gc.ca- all of us know :-), for all after arriving queries
