Best Economic Flight to Toronto from Dubai (one way)

I have checked all the Flights going to Toronto from Dubai/AbuDhabi (One Way)

The best economic airline is British Airways. its about AED 3200/-

I have small doubt

are they allowing 2 x 23 kg  or 1 x 23 kg their website for the flights from Dubai to Toronto

It is 23 kg in total but if it is between 24-32 then you have to pay extra see below (No of bags depends upon the category of the Economy class i.e. they call it World Traveller (1 bag with max 23 Kg) and the other World Traveller Plus (2 bags allowed but total still limited to 23 kgs with option in both cases of Plus/Non Plus, of extending it upto 32 kg with additional payment of £30/US$50). Bulkier bags beyond 32 kgs are segregated and have some additional formalities and entails longer time and seperate delivery etc.

I know about this also, because I booked this airline (British Airways), for my elder son for his travel to Germany from Dubai.

Ya British Airways is cheaper then all but not direct. If someone has a Passion to have direct flight on A380 Emirates is the best choice from Dubai. It is happening once in life that you are going to your destination. No matters later you can go by any airlines!!!!

Emirates is a topnotch airline and travelling non-stop (13 +hours) in the magnificient A-380 will be undoubtedly fantastic; but it will not be prudent by paying AED 5185 i.e. 62% more than the other available cost effective British Airways, via London (19+ Hours) costing AED 3200 especially for migrants with a family of 4-5 members. Plus, BA  flies daily versus Emirates 3-4 times/week flights. The + point with Emirates would be the 30 kgs allowance but then would it not be better to pay US$50 to avail 32 kg?

Secondly, I personally will prefer BA/Air France/Lufthansa with the European stopovers where my son can join enroute at the switchover Airport i.e. LHR/Paris/Frankfurt respectively.

Lastly, the few thousands Canadian $ thus saved will be better utilised in our new life, in Canada. Kya khayal hai?

Anyways, the choice is ours!

BA is allowing two bags i.e. 2X23 kgs

I have already bought tickets from Hyderabad to Toronto and they have stopover of only 3 hrs at LHR [london]

for first extra bag of 23 kg they are charging 40 Pounds it will be converted to local currecny.

Flight will be really good and cheapest then all airlines even Airindia. anyone who want to save few dollars can try this but again its personal choice.

I asked today one travel agent in Abu Dhabi by phone, he was also confused then he call me back and he said that the luggage allowance is 1 x 23 kg for the economic class / world traveler class but we can pay 40 pound and get anothe 23kg luggage free

is that correct? please send me BA tel number in dubai to confirm that.

fma, I have read this website, but its confusing because there are 2 schedule in regards og world traveler class... in the first one they are allowing 1 x 23 kg and second one they are allowing 2 x 23kg

which one applicable for (Dubai - London - Toronto) Flights?

I would like to say one advantage in BA that they are not only best economic class but also they are allowing to carry baby stroller and car seat for child 2-11. (its very good for people have child 3 yrs old with stroller, like me)

my issue now I want them to accept my second bag of 23 kg like lufthansa ( but the price of Lufthansa 20% extra than BA)

BA has old fleet. use Emirates's A380 non stop 13 hours from Dubai DXB to Toronto YYZ.
There has been some complaints about its food that they dont serve you with foods during the interval between lunch and dinner AND dinner and breakfast. Overall, this is the most used flight for Toronto bound passegers. They allow 23X2 + 7 kilos  for Economy.

From India Sinapore Airlines would be the best Airlines to use but its kinds troublesome as you have to 1st go to Singapore and take their BOEING/A380 flight to LHR and then to YYZ using Air Canada. Air Canada indeed has the youngest and newest fleet.

I would like to have the travel agency''s name and Tel No from where u bought the tickets at the price of AED 3200/- and also whether that was one way/or return fare. (Because Yahoo travel was giving BA tcket to Toronto return for 955 US$)
