Best areas in toronto near downtown????

Hi all,

I'm new to Toronto and looking for some rooms to rent/share.
Can anybody please tell me how are the following areas to live (in terms of neighborhood, eating places, peaceful, etc)

1. Kidd Terrace
2. Sentinel
3. Finch Ave

or any other areas that are really to good to live and not much expensive too

Finch Ave is not near downtown.  Try with you google map first.  You don't need to make multiple posts.
