Hi there,

My wife (British) and I (Canadian) lived in Bermuda for 2 years, and are in need of a police clearance.

Bermuda insists on sending it right to Canadian Immigration. Does anyone know the address to have them send it to, or should I just use the same address as the main application?

We are doing the outside Canada sponsorship. We are using London as the processing centre...should I have them send it straight to London?

Thanks

Have them send it to London.  It is highly unlikely CPC-M will be able to match it up with your original application package unless they are received simultaneously, based on how they deal with packages.  If you can delay when they send it, ask them to wait until you have a file number from CPC-M (after sponsor approval).  Include a cover letter with the application package to the effect that you have obtained the police certificate from Bermuda and it will be forwarded directly to London as per Bermuda's police policy.

You wait for instructions from London, who will send you a letter which you include with your application to the Bermuda Police.  See: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/central-south-amer/bermuda.asp
