Hi Musab, welcome to our forum. You can see on the side of my name when i filed my PPRs. Basically 8 months of waiting for nothing, they didnt process my file because they were not sure where it will be sent. and this is back in June 2011. How abt you, when did u send ur files...hopefully we will have more ppl joining ius here. We have few from Amman, and nshallah they will share their time line.

I really hope that we will hear good news, and as you said Musab, there isnt a lot of Lebanese, Iraquis, and ppl from Amman. Maybe its good for us, meaning we will get PPRs soon.

oh 8 months hope they count from the process time, my file reach Damascus 29 of march 2011 so its been under process for 11 months and 3 days, hope its a good sign coz were not many, hope we all here good news all of us.

Dont we all wish that they reply...bas Musab did u hear that the Amman VO has problems with the transit, that's what I read in other threads and that files are gonna be delayed 3-4 months...I dont know what to beleive but its funny because someone got their PPR fews days ago.

i have a question  , i am sponsoring my wife i live in quebec , i amplaning to moove to british culumbia  , my wife s file is still in process . does it harm in a way to change from quebec to another province ?>?? i mean wat will happen in case she arrives here does she have to pass by quebec first ?> or she can fly away to bc does it change anything am lost about that, plz if u can help me i wld me thanksfull

no i didnt hear anything about that, and i dont believe everything here, i sow lots of people saying things and what happen is the opposite i only believe what i think is right dont want to hear anything bad im already depressed from this long process so i only take the good news

  Saba7o, how r u Fadimaya...I dont think that your move to B.C. will change anything. Hennei they already gave you the OK to sponsor ur wife. Ma '7assoun after that what you do. I mean you are still in Canada. When she books her flight here, thats what im not sure abt....but I can ask around for you. Dont worry too much...We all have enough stress as it is.

I love ur words..."so i only take the good news"...I wish i can be like that all the time, but the depression is just soooo damn powerful that it keeps making me sink underneath it all. It just shocks me when I hear that there are ppl that have been waiting for 14 months....u know its crazy....wallah 7aram

Thanks for guiding me for this forum.
Time is moving very slow,sometimes i think they are not working on our applications at all especially when you check your status on the CIC site and you find that nothing has changed since one year.
I am married since 10 years, i have two kids,both of them have the Canadian passport since my wife is Canadian, she is sponsoring me from Quebec, my file was transferred to Damascus since 5 May 2011 and since then no news at all. I thought that being married and having kids would be easier and taken more in cosideration but i found that it is the same which in my opinion it is unfair at all.
I should have had my Canadian passport since 2009 because i applied on 2006 when we had to travel because of the war in July, but i had to return back to Lebanon to finish up with some assetts but unfortunately no one told me that i couldn't leave Canada before i get my PR card, so when i came i tried to go back after one month but they told me it is impossible because i had a one entry visa, since then i've been sufferring, i had to drop my old file and start a whole new one in January 2010.

Totally frustrated, no clue at all where we stand now, i still have a lot to wait or not, i really don't have any idea.

Morning everyone:) Has any of you contacted the visa section in Beirut as in do you have a valid email address. The issue is on Jan 12th I received an email from Damascus asking me to renew my medical so I did and sent them the green sheet; but now I'm thinking that I want to send the green sheet to Beirut. Thanks.

Thank you Lello, I sent them the green slip of my medical exam. I'll keep you posted when and IF they ever revert:)
