How long does the CAIPS take though? Do you know?
Yes, it takes a month; you can email it and it costs $5. it shows most of what's been happening with your file ever since cic received it; so u'd exactly know at least when has it been sent to Beirut. |

Good evening my friends, you had a great discussions in the past 4 hours  Santanaleb, Joe, Still Waiting and all how are you guys ? ? ? Did anyone's mailing address has changed today? hope like Santanaleb is saying that they are working on my file  First my home address was shown and now it is changed to my work address (maybe it means I am staying here hahahaha) I don't know if this is considered as a change  Santanaleb i never saw changes on my file till today, I usually see the date my file is received in Damascus and what paper is done and what papers is in process. |

Don't worry Anoushka! of course they are working on your file, an our address change means that an officer has updated it because we found out that the officers who are working on the files update them; that's y some people only have application received while others say in process. You can get your papers any day, you never know! Look at Ka, she got it in just under 12 months! Who knows!!! Did u fill in the forms like this: form 1- http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563E.pdf to be filled by you( the sponsor who has a canadian address) form 2 - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5475E.pdf to be filled by the sponsored who will just sign it, and scan it to email it to you. The fees are $5 only. You can either mail them to the address provided in the forms or just email them to specified address (both in the form). lol Actually I'm just an ordinary person who used to fill out CIC forms for a living in Edmonton!! I stopped doing it in 2005 though! but I still refuse to hire a lawyer or an immigration consultant to complete my forms! |
