quebec certification decembre 16 2011
medical exam : august 2 2011
file received in beirut i dont know the date but i know i called cic in canada and they told me they have recieved it in beirut
i hope all this makes sense and it helps the timeline

Don't worry that it only says application received; everyone is the same. It's good news when you don't hear from them because it would mean that your file is complete. Sorry I have confused you with someone else that is why I have asked you CAIPS; which is a file check on the computerised information stored about your application.
You might find it a bit empty if you order it now since your application has been received 6 months ago. Don't despair or get me wrong because there was a person who got his visa after 7 months, so it's a random matter. Best of luck to all of us!!!!

im guessing for kat-h
now that beirut is giving visas did it show on ecas ? or they just called and when u check on
ecas its still the same status ? and another question lets say the embassy called and
u missed the call do u guys know the number they are calling with to check when the called is missed lets say and are they writing an email as well ?

On her ecas, same day or a day later it showed that they processed her visa same day or a day before they called her and she was shocked to find that out!!! Nshallah we're next!!!

I miss you all....how's everyone doing. Just came back from Lebanon last week. I got ur msgs to go to the Embassy but I was late by 1.5 hrs. OMG what can I say...no hope whatsoever from the Embassy in Beirut. I flew all the way from Toronto to hear a stupid receptionist say I cannot say anything about ur file. Send an e-mail and we will advise you within 23 days. Its almost been a year with no word on what is going on with my file. I went 3 times to Lebnein w every time I go its like hell. I see my husband for 2 weeks and I come back empty handed. I dont know what is going on with the Beirut VO but after I checked the spreadsheet, it looks like we are in no luck.

Some ppl in Lebanon are saying its too hard nowadays, some ppl have been waiting for over 2 years and it looks like a never ending cycle of misery and heart breaking stories.

If anyone had heard someting, pls share with others. But really, Im not impressed at all with Beirut and the way they are handling this whole immigration.

We are all doing fine, sorry that you didn't get any result from the embassy but at least you met your spouse and enjoyed your time.

Actually alot of things happened during these two weeks, Still Waiting made a spreadsheet for Beirut applicants (you can see the chart beneath her name) and another great news that Kat-H one of beirut applicants got a phone call from the embassy on Friday May 11 and they told her to bring her passport on Monday and the next thing we knew that she got her visa the same day, she also told us that there were 3 other applicants with her

We were all happy for her and we were also happy that they were issuing visas ...

So we are all hoping that till end of summer we will all get our visa hehehehe
