Folks,

I am yet to start the process of applying for Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program for H1-B. I heard from a colleague that since April the process has undergone some changes as there have been a lot of H1-B applicants. Is this a good time to apply, or is it too late now to start the process from scratch?

Thanks,
Rahul

There is no good time or bad time to start the application. Due to the large number of applications and the bad economic situation in Alberta Nominations are taking longer and longer to come by.

Also there is no other option  than to start an application from scratch. The news coming form IMF and US fed tells things are going to get worse as the year progresses so more and more H1bs will hear about AINP SRS and the numbers go up. So I would suggest to apply as soon as you can.

Also read this if you haven't read it already.
