Hi,
Although I understand how an Internationally Educated Nurse becomes a nurse in Alberta and BC I need help understanding the process in
Ontario with the CNO as an RN or Licensed Practical Nurse
. Please share you knowledge and experience, in English.

Hi Kim, you opened so many threads for the same question. If you want for Ontario, go to
www.CNO.ORG
. click on international applicants and follow the instruction.if you make an online application, they will send you the application package.

Thanks Melsa,
I know. For the most part CNO has a lot of great information on the site, but the steps of the process for IENs is not clear. I am not an IEN so I can not apply. Furthermore, steps are often missed in information packages. I get questions all the time from people wanting to immigrate, or move from one province to another, or having just immigrated. I always give information about BC and Alberta, as their websites are clear, and I know many people going through the process. So I opened a new thread with the same question for different provinces as each has a different process. I would like to be able to give out more information about the process: exams, English requirements, upgrading, courses for both registered nurses and practical nurses.
