Hi, I don't know how to start this,
I came to Canada with a work permit, I met a canadian woman and we started a relationship, now we are living together and she is pregnant, she only holds a part time job, I would like to know that if it would be enough for her to sponsor me once we get married? or if she goes on maternity benefits and start getting paid. can that affect so she can sponsor me? I mean is that considered as social assistance? I d appreciate your help.

Spousal sponsorships do not have a minimum income requirement.  Maternity and EI benefits are not considered social assistance for the purpose of sponsoring a spouse/common-law partner.
