hi,

my family (me, wife and two kids) are moving from the UK to BC.  we have to be resident for two or three months before we can be covered by provincial health insurance.  does anyone have any advice about where to get a good deal on 'bridging insurance' to cover us during the waiting period?    or any other advice about our situation?

Try here: http://www.settlement.org/sys/library_detail.asp?doc_id=1003775  A friend of mine in BC said that she got through the BCAA: http://www.bcaa.com/wps/portal/insurance/travel?rdePathInfo=xchg/bcaa-com/hs.xsl/1566.htm
