hi BC GUY,
i don't know if you can help me on this but i have a sister who has her registration here in BC as a registered nurse. I have tried places from the island, interior, northern BC and they said they can't hire her cause she's from the philippines. she has been a nurse for 3 years. i thought it would be an advantage for her cause she's registered with CRNBC. if you can give me steps to get her AEO or how to apply PNP or maybe skilled worker(which i know takes forever) but if it can be faster then it will be really good. she was gonna go to school for her nursing refresher but immigration denied her. help please. thanks.

PNP Nominations for nurses are running 5-6 weeks,Thats not forever.Regarding finding work,She can be hired Immediately ,I work with the BC Care Providers Association and there are at least 2,000 vacant nursing positions open in BC.Yasmeen couldnt place her???or Zeala couldnt help??The last couple of nurses were all placed.Contact them

BC Guy,
if i get AEO and use it for PNP then i have a successful PR application done. do i have to work for the company that gave me AEO or can i work for someone else? I can get AEO from my employer right now as a mental health worker but I'm also working on my registration as a nurse. as soon as i get my license i wanna work as a nurse.

Once you become PR, you do not have to work for the company that gave you the AEO.
