Bankruptcy status in UK

Hi,
I've been offered a truck driving job in Alberta starting in October.
Long story but short version is I've separated with wife and cannot afford to keep up the mortgage payments and secured loan on the house but cannot sell it for enough to cover debts. Thinking of going bankrupt.
Does anyone know what effect this would have on my job in October??

UK bankrupcy is not related to Canadian bankrupcy, so dont worry about it. File for bankrupcy and leave the country for good. If you plan to return to UK anytime soon then depending on UK laws it may stay on your record.
