its good to get 6 months bank statement.
If u can,t get it try to give 3 months statement.
U have to prove it that this is ur account n u r doing transactions through it.

Bank letter should be sufficient if your account is less than 1 month old. However, its better to include the monthly statements along with bank's letter. The idea is to prove that you have enough money to support initial period post migration. One of my friend had sent only the bank letter and he didn't have any issue. It depends on VO too.

1)You need to prove that you have required money and
2)you also need to prove that, that money belongs to you (and is not borrowed).

For 1) point you can have 6 months bank statement from your bank (bank does provide statement from requested date)
for 2) as you said you have recently deposited it, VO office won't be satisfied and you would need to prove that, that's your own money.
to prove same, you would need to share the source of that money which you have recently deposited in your account. e.g. if you have sold property extra; you would need to share that deals information.

Here you means that you and/or your spouse. If you have spouse in your application, you can share her account detail also as a POF.

God Bless All.

No they do not check your credit history they just check that you have sufficient funds to cover your living expenses in the first year.

Different visa offices have different rules. If this is CHC,London, they will accept that. CHC,London put emphasis on current balance rather than considering cash flow throughout the year. If it is Buffallo I think you have to show six months bank statements.
