Guys,

I have question regarding the Bank proof as according to CIC they asking to show $20,599 for 4 (me+my wife + 2 kids) but as of now I do not have that much amount in my bank I just have around $11,000 which I can show in letter from the bank.

Is it enough for FSW application or i will get rejection ?

Sorry  i am affraid to let you know they are quite strict about proof of fund you must illustrate required fund in your account , it can be either in your name or spouse or a joint account , you may show multiple accounts to fullfil requirement but should be on your name or spouse or a joint.

hope it will clear your doubt ....

Please review the below pasted clipping from a discussion of "Canadian Immigration Consulting..........."

Table 1 - Required Funds

How Much Funds Should you Bring?
Find out how much it costs to live where you are planning to settle in Canada. Bring as much money as possible to make moving and finding a home in Canada easier.

Visa officers have been instructed not to refuse applicants on the basis of not being able to provide the required proof of funds alone, as described in Table 1, therefore these funds are NOT a condition of admission. The six-month settlement fund requirement is a policy creation implemented by the Department and is not found in the Regulations. Visa officers apply a number of additional factors that include, without limitation, the following criteria's:
1. Spouse's potential for employment

2. Genuine offers of employment

3. Genuine offers of accommodation

4. General assistance from family and friends

5. Transferable skills of applicant

The application of Table 1 and the additional factors noted above will vary from post to post in accordance with the particular circumstances of an applicant's case.

As well, certain visa offices adhere to a practice of requesting longevity of fund possession for up to one year, while other offices will issue visas upon the production of evidence of current deposit (s) or bank draft (s) in the name of applicant, spouse or over-age dependent child.

Applicants who are not able, upon request, to provide proof of funds, can petition the visa office to hold the disposition of the case in abeyance for a reasonable period of time, pending efforts by the applicant to comply with this statutory requirement.

Hi Wilson,

Could you please provide a reference for your bold statement that proof of funds is not in the regulations for the benefit of members.

Thanks.

Sultanali and Wilson
I really appreciated your comments but I am still confused with my question. Because I have recently started gathering information for FSW PR application.
Let me ask you guys the same question in different way  what I have on mind... Wink
1.   Can I submit the application without showing $20,599 on bank letter?
2.   Is that amount should be in last 6 months bank statements? OR
3.   Can I just show this amount onetime only? OR
4.   Can I show whatever amount currently I have in my bank account (i.e. $11,000) at the time of application?
5.   Can I show required fund later on?
6.   Is there any chance to get rejection due to insufficient fund?

The other scenario is, I will have this amount in my bank account after December 2010, by god bless Wink (My own not borrowed money from somebody/relative/friends–) because we are new in USA, and I just started working. Should I wait for application?

Now your inputs requested
