I applied on 12 August,received a letter from cic on 25,Nov. But not able to check online application status.
Do they update later.

I think nobody can check their ecas through website now. I mean with new file number. |

Just an hour ago i have received thier mail quoting that i am on their interview list and in their next contact they will mention Date, time and location for Interview. I am really tensed now. arlnr Don't get tensed just get prepared to face... If ur academic, job exp and POF supporting docs are alright no reason to worry about. You better can start preparing yourself through some of the interview tips thread in this forum (one initiated by Mike...).. can go through some of the interview exp post shared by some members (Mine one shared on the thread NOC 4131-Inputs here on 8 or 9 July post)... Like my exp I can tell you to be cool and with full determination to win over... It will not be wise to go on argue with VO even if challenged.... But at the same time be truthful and smart in responding.... All the very best wishes for you in New Year 2011 |

Interview is always good. tourist visas are never granted without an interview. nowadays , Canadian High commission in Dhaka has started no Interview system but when they are unclear about anything, they call the applicants for an interview. In your case, they'd just ask you something or may be ask for more papers. there is a special technique to pass these type of interviews, if youre unsure about how to answer a question, tell them " I need some time to answer that because I seem to have forgotten about what youre asking"
another thing is that they conduct these immigration interviews on a rare basis, this is a bureaucratic rule that they must follow for transparency of the system. I have faced Canadian visa interviews before, I can tell you, they dont ask anything tough. just straight forward questions. they will not ask you anything else other than the papers you have submitted to them. I think fariza also pointed it out.

Hi there,
do you have any idea how busy the singapore vo is nowadays? i sent my full docs on november 16 and expecting a letter from from them. i wish i could get it before i leave australia on january 17. that will be exactly two months. any idea people are getting aor from the visa office in two months after sending their docs?
