Hi all,
As all of u are from bangladesh..i have a question ...it will be great if someone can help.
I am in a big problem...I hold a bangladeshi passport I used to work in Indian in employment visa in IT industry but some months back indian gov rejected employment visa...so i came back and joined an IT firm in Dhaka.
My wife holds an Indian passport she too works in a reputed IT industry...we thought of applying for canada immigration but came to know IT and engineering is not in the list of occupation anymore...so probably i'll have to do an mba before applying for immigration.
My question is not regarding canada immigration...my question is:
can my wife stay in dhaka on dependent visa? if yes how long? can she work in dhaka IT industry for the time being till we get immigration to a different country as she doesnt want to change her indian nationality....is there any way she can stay in dhaka and work here without changing her nationality...please suggest...

The Primary question is: whats her current status of the visa in Bangladesh? Is she legal or Illegal now. You better know the rules first cause if you go to this office www.immi.gov.bd/ with your wife and ask them, they might handcuff you and/or your wife for illegally staying in BD, if that is the real case. She can definitely stay here as your dependent and keep working. There are lots of Indians work here, they are either wives or single working women. |

She is perfectly on legal grounds...right now staying in dhaka on tourist visa for a month..after that she will go back to india...and if she can work here in dhaka on dependent visa or any other visas...she'll come back and do a job here...but my concern is can she work here in dependent visa...especially when IT is concerned?

She has to apply for a dependent visa in the High Commission of BD in New Delhi or Calcutta.
Dependent visa is issued on spousal/relational grounds , not based on sector of work like IT, Medicine, Aviation etc. She would be needed to show your papers to the Visa officer in BD High Comm.
