it is not required when you for the firt time apply to the CIO But it may required when you send full documents to the visa office . its you to decide whether you are sending initial application or full documents to the visa office .

idas, vncviewer  &   swapnochary,

Don't ruin your first ever Canada bound long haul flight to save a few hundred dollars.
Its not BD, Good airlines will charge you for their world class services and you will feel the pay off and enjoy every minutes boarding on those airlines.

Cathayy : Boeing 777, All Boiled foods - not worth eating for South Asians, Fare : BDT 71,000/- (approx), good in flight services and entertainemt.

Emirates: Boeing 777 from DAC-DXB, excellent food, 9 hours of hotel stay in Dubai, A380 to Toronto in 14 hours.  Fare: BDT 90,000-95,000

Kuwait Airways: Mixture of BOEING and Airbus. Good Arabian food, 5 hours to Kuwait from Dhaka and then using a Boeing 777 to London or JFK, then using Air Canada to Toronto. Fare: BDT 80,000-90,000

I will add more in coming days.

Guys,

Qatar Airways is good as well.. shorter layover ..

Dhaks to Doha -- 3 hrs stopover -- doha to NY/washington - ny/wshington - toronto ...

I fly from houston to dhaka once a year ... emirates and qatar  -- best for customer service .. if you fly off season you can get the price cheaper ... example -- i bought round trip ticket from Houston to Dhaka for 900 usd (less than 70,000 bdt in march) .. do not fly in dec - jan 25th or in summber (Jun - august) .. u would pay high price .. also try to avoid economy Y class ticket ( refundable) .. that will give you cheaper price as well ... also if you fly in either of emirates/qatar - - be sure to sign up for their privilage club member (free of cost) -- get miles from ur first trip and use those for future flights .. those are valid for 5 years( qatar air) , 3 yrs (emirates) .. why waste .. its' free .. send me pm if you have any questions ..

Suhash,

very good practical post.

ripon,

Qatar costs BDT 43,000 from DAC-Doha-London. it is better not to use any US port as they have stringent security procedures and this often causes unwanted delays. Qatar Airways is still good. As Shuhash said, if  were ripon and it was my first ever Canada journey, then I'd choose Anyone between Emirates, Kuwait Airways, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways.

I'd still recommend you all to use Air Canada from London and get a glimpse and taste of Canada before you could touch Canadian soil. Air Canada has the youngest fleet among all other Transatlantic carriers. Excellent new Airbuses. They can even serve you with Halal food (which most require, I don't) if you request them while booking your flight. They are the Star Alliance member like Singapore Airlines and Thai Airways.

You can ask  about fare and other stuffs to your agent or go to Shonar Tori Tower in Bangla Motor to Air Canada's country office in Dhaka.

hello!
yes i agreee with you. a candidate should not send SSC certificate or transcript while submitting full docs to the visa office.i thought it could be HSC! if an applicant has already sent his /her SSC docs, it won't hamper the process or make complexity or a problem in processing the application.it will be an EXTRA! no bonus for this!
however, there is nothing to be worried , Mr. Hasib!
 best wishes for swapnochary!
and Mr. Dr.Hasib! all the best wishes for you too.
