Hi,
I am at serious Emergency.
Need your frank comments please.
I am in the process of applying for F1 (Student) Visa for USA. Now, I have to submit a questionnaire. The last question in that questionnaire is- Did you apply for immigration or citizenship to any other country? If yes, then which country and what is the status of your application.
Please, I know it is awkward, but given the fact that my being a potential immigrant to Canada, the US consulate may reject me from Student VISA there. So, should I disclose that I have applied for Canadian Immigration in the Student Visa form for US?
I have only 24 hours to decide. I am sincerely looking for your pragmatic suggestion (no matter how awkward it is!).
If you are sure about the F1 visa and need it badly then you can hide, You Have to decide which one u need, I think you should disclose .. Swapnochary |

As you have lived in aus for 4.5 months normally you don't need a PCC form there, If VO wants then s/he can do a chk there that might take some time. Apart from that only two things can delay u'r process. One is your Relative in CA (if you claim points from them) which is one more step to check for VO. Whether they are self sufficient and is not taking any social aid and not involve in any criminal activity. The other one is your daughters info (Congrats on being a father  ). When ever you interrupt a normal processing (I know this was the only thing u or i could do) the VO gives the file a BFD to check all the changes done is ok as per CHC and till the BFD they do nothing about that file (I may be wrong, but that's what i saw in some prv cases like pregnant or re med requests etc). This is an over simplified equation App to CIO + 90 ( +/- 30) Days to Get AOR1, Next BFD = Date of AOR1 + 120 Days, Next BFD = Completion of Security and Background Chk (Around 120 +/- 30) days which is Med and RPRF req. Next is just mailing delay Around (60 +/- 30) days to get the PPR and Visa. I cant say when SG will issue your med but i know it shouldn't be late then Mid Oct unless they find any hole in your application. When i applied i was mentally prepared that i wont get any result before Feb 11, But having that mind set i could not take the pain of waiting. So i know what you are feeling right now. Does it Matter of the Baby Attached with Parents PP & PPR issued then How VISA officer will STamp VISA for BABY??
SHould I Take A separate PP for BABY or Is there any way that they can Stamp VISA on Mothrers PP

As per latest law requirement of BD, each individual should hold his/ her own PP not matter adult or child. |

I am sure a baby's photo of 1 month is impossible to his photo at 4t or subsequent months.
Seems so mysterious how they make sure that this 4 month old baby is the one who's passport was made at its one month age. I am sure MRP's dont have Retina scanning info inside them. thumb prints do change in time for human.

I think they call your provided number to let you know to collect your PP from the office.
Jnathan, At the time of submission, they told me, a notification letter will be issued to ur address. With this letter, u have to collect ur PPs. I am not sure whether they wll call me or not whereas I provided my cell no into form and also envelope. Any more suggestion & comments appreciated....... |
