Hi

Is it ok to bring laptop and external hard drive(s)? We are likely to have 5 big boxes... will those be opened and checked (adding to time coming out of airport?)

Thank you

its obvious that they will check ur laptop...u have to keep laptop out seperately in the tray for security checks.. i advise you to take 1-2 hdd but do u have any illegal stuff ( i mean pirated dvds softweares etc) dont give any chance for them to check it in depth.. i advise u keep in ur cargo baggage rolled n  packed nicely. its my opnion...

senior smay advise more alaborately....

Please make sure there is no *censored word* or any dirty picture in your laptop. I know Australian airport randomly checks passenger's laptop and when they find any *censored word* consequently, they stop the passenger and ask plenty of questions. This is absolutely true. Although, this is someone's private life but still Australia do that. Their motive is yet to revealed.
