I saw form the posts that some airlines allow 2 * 23 = 46
and one additional bag of 7 kgs.

I am going via cathay pacific, i saw at one place they too allow 2 bags of 23 kg each, is that right.

also share the size of bags ..

which company bags have you purchased or planning to purchase and whats the cost of the bags..  Smiley

please reply....

ALL trans-pacific/atlantic flights allow 2 bags of 23kgs each (with a maximum allowance of 32kg; in that case you will have to pay for the extra) and a hand luggage not exceeding 7kg. They can me flexible with the dimension as long as you are not carrying HUGE one! The regular size (stands at 3' with a width of around 1.5') is ok. And for the hand, it should be like 1.5' (stands upto your knee).

Air India

Inform for student ticket while booking

69 kgs + 7-8 kg hand bag....If flying from Amritsar, 2-3kg excess is ignored.

Hi,

Some say AirIndia is like a flying elephant, no guarantee of landing at all. Smiley

but, the option of 69 kg (vs. 23*2 in other airlines) is the attractive one. I am in favour of AirIndia.

When I was learning to fly, my instructor told me the definition of a good landing.

"A good landing is - ANY landing that you can walk away from".
