My friend K hired Sherritt Greene in Alberta to represent his case and they sucked BIG TIME! They took his money and totally neglected his case. Whichever law firm you choose to work with, DO NOT even consider Sherritt Greene! They do not even have a decent website. Poor K, now he has to find another representative. Any recommendations?

I spoke to them about handling matters for my fiance and I and I was impressed with the two people I spoke to. When we get ready to apply we plan one hiring them.

If anyone has had a bad experience with them though I would be interested in hearing it before we actually do it

Hi Julia 0109

Can I have the name, address and phone number of the immigration firm in Mississauga. We are prepared to do all the paperwork etc ourselves, but we would like one appt with an immigration lawyer to point us in the right direction.

Thanks

This former immigration consultant faces more charges.

The company - Burgio and Associates

I do NOT recommend Arlete Campion from AFC & Associates in Mississauga.  She will take your case, lie to you about your chances, then be impossible to get in touch with for months.  I had an awful experience with her...STAY AWAY from that company, that's my advice.

This reminds me to advise (as I have done before) to pay in installments only, so that if the specialist you hire doesn't perform, you have some money left to hire someone else.  So many things can go wrong in a professional relationship, and the only leverage the customer has is money. Once the specialist has it all, you have no control whatsoever.

Hi everyone if we me and my bf do decide we need an immigration lawyer, how much would it cost us? The lowest we've asked is 5000 CAD which is alot. Are there any cheaper and good firms?

Hi, we went through a consultant in Calgary AB and they were excellent. Kept us informed as much as they could and were very reasonable. $3,000 in all. $1,000 to start, $1,000 when we filed and $1,000 when the Visa was issued. You still have the $1,040 for fees but still a worthwhile investment for piece of mind. Have attached thier contact info if you are interested, we applied through Kingston JA
