Hey guys,

Do we have to mention each and every month after 18th birthday while declaring background. For instance, if I am 28 now, I should include 10x12=120 rows to define my background for each and every month. Will it be that vague. Please let me know.

Yes, you should explain month-by-month since your 18th birthday.

Don't feel bad.  Some of us are 40 or older.

Hi,

Yes, you can add a spreadsheet.  Make sure to cover every month.  For instance..

11/92 - 10/93, <street and number>, <city or town> ,<state>, <country>
11/93 - 12/94 ....
01/95 - 07/98 ... etc.

Hi Thaiguy,

Can you tell me when the embassy normally request the background declaration forms?

We changed principal applicant from my spouse to myself recently and they asked for it to be completed and sent with the new simplified form.

Thanks in advance

Hi Mani,

I think they would probably request the background declaration when they are ready to start assessing your case.  But I'm not sure.  I applied under the regular application process, and some things are different.

Hi

Hey guys,

Do we have to mention each and every month after 18th birthday while declaring background. For instance, if I am 28 now, I should include 10x12=120 rows to define my background for each and every month. Will it be that vague. Please let me know.

You have to give details of the period, not month by month, but you don't have to leave any blank period. Example if you were student for degree - you have to give the starting month and year of degree and ending month and year. Its not like that if your degree was for three years then you give the detail of each month, no no thats not the way.

Example : july   1997  to   august  2000
If threre is any blak period mention that period also as what you were doing that tme - Example : Sep   2000    Dec  2000   waiting for the result of degree   or if you were unemployed any time just mention that period as unemployed.

Hope this will help you

Best Wishes
