Guys;

I did the med test on 13/12/2010, but stil ecas is showing in process.
I have contacted CIC office and they answered that they have received the med results.
Kindly, when do u think the will ask PPR?
BR

Please refer below one of the post of Captain Qorax,

In the 'best-case scenario' one should get the PPR by 3-4 months from the meds. At max 5-6 months. Anything later meant that the Security Checks weren't that forthcoming.

Hello Qorax, all,

I heard that US FBI records are valid for only 3 months from the day they were issued.  Mine will expire June 17th.  Does that mean that my federal application needs to be postmarked by June 17th, or that they have to have received it by June 17th, or what?  Or does it need to be processed by immigration by June 17th for it to count?

Thanks so much.

1. It usually takes, nowadays, 24-36 months to complete the PR process.
2. It shouldn't be a problem.
3. As u send your apps, it's locked  @  the conditions prevailing that time... if a cap is reached now/later - it wouldn't affect u.

Dear Qorax,

My medicals were sent by end of Sept. 2010.I have sent case specific enquiry to CHC London about my case, they replied that my case is awaiting the results of the routine background checks.

It is almost 7 months after the medicals has been sent. They started processing my case on 29 July 2010.

Can you please let me know what they exactly mean by background checks?

Thanks.

No.
CHC-ND has a unique system of calling the Pps alongwith Meds - it doesn't mean that they have concluded their b/g & security checks.
