Dear Mr. Qorax,

My Application Details:

Applied: MAr 2009
Visa Office: New Delhi (PNP case)
File sent to VO - Aug 4, 2010
Medical Done:25-sep-2009
Passport sent - oct 15, 2010

It has been 4 months, since I have some my medical and 3 months since I have passports. My CAIPS says, background is in progress. eCase also says, inprogess.
I called CIC customer care in canada, they are not answesring about visa office related queries.
Any idea how many days it will take to complete BC.
Thanks,

3-5 months from the meds, usually. 7 months max, unless the security checks have gone heyware (God forbid).

Your 'eligibility review' has been completed.
U have obtained PSDEC-1.
And the case file was sent to MLZ (an officer  @  your VO) to 'microfilm' the file.
U have a "VO Review Date" of 1st Jun 2011 (which is a 'deadline BFD').

Qorax

Thank you, Qorax.
But the date format in CAIPS is dd/mm/yy, meaning that there might have been something on January, 6, 2011 (I checked all other dates there). Am I right? But you are sure that b/c is completer and we passed?

 @  Qorax,

I have not informed to my employer about my immigration thing.

Do you think I should inform them about my immigration and probable verification call?

-Vaibhav

Why didn't u, what's the prob?
U should, 'coz they'd then be prepared for such calls (which'd go well with your PR processing then).
