Dear qorax ji,

can u pls share to us  why so much of applicants in this forum with more than 20 + months of RBVO status?

lot of people with more than  1+ year of in process status without medicals?

in my case its 7 + months of in process status with no MR...

why it is so....non uniformity in processing standerds?is the VO have any deadline to issue MR in a std time span?

Is there any timeframe during which visa offices are required to decide a particular application, once it gets into "In Process with Date"?

No. And no one can dictate that. Unless our b/ground checks and security checks r completed we cannot be let in. And the process & time for that varies between cases.

we did our med's and the line of receiving medical on the Ecas on last November,

till now nothing... I asked them three times by emails, and each time they answer "waiting for Background Check"

do you think it really take that long? what do you advise?

Does LVO starts SC after receiving of medical results of PA or after DD (RPRF) encashed? or SC could not start untill LVO received medical results of whole family.

Hope you are doing good, My Ecas got updated and it says ' We started processing your application on 7 June' 2012' .
Does it mean that VO is satisfied and all Background checks, Security checks done? Am I cleared to issue MR? Please advise on this. It will be appreciated. Thank you.

No. It means ur file is out of the wait-queue and reprocessing has commenced. It could take 3-5 months hereon for meds.

In case if you haven't find my post, here are the details: i got GCMS yesterday but i am unable to make conclusion.. can you please provide your valuable input based on following information, i will really appreciate that:


here are the notes in descending order (most recent first)

1. 2012/05/08: Email address corrected
2. 2012/05/08: Request for status (i sent email to Catherine on this date, she said my file will go to Ottawa for Background check).
 3. 2011/12/12: Label:Adm (cutted off text) and Text field is blank.
4. 2012/12/03: Pakistan PC for subject;no record (I was missing my wife's Police Clearance certificate and i sent them back in Nov: 2011)
5. 2011/11/25: Received check (RPRF).
 6. 2011/10/12: Passed Eligibility.
7. 2011/10/11: Additional document; spouse PC required.

That's all for notes. I already paid RPRF so i don't see that note or something like ready for visa.

Paper File History

The file is physically at Ottawa-CPP and they received this file electronically from Buffalo on 2012/05/09 (after a day when i sent email to Catherine) and file was physically transferred to Ottawa on 2012/05/16.

Do you notice, repetition and no:11 says Security Passed for myslef where as all other related activities above it for myself regarding security are blank. Did you got kind of same GCMS
 
I am unable to conclude from GCSM, what do you say.

Ok no worries sir, to sum up my GCMS shows security: passed, criminality: passed, medical: passed, eligiblity: passed but all thes field are empty under my wife's section.. does that mean they haven't started? even medical field under her section is blank, however we did medical together and I am principal applicant. Last month they transferred my case to Ottawa-CPP from buffalo they said its because they will do background check... Does above GCMS means they are done with background check? Even under my activity section i find couple of security and security screenig sections and most of them are blank except one which says PASSED. Today i got a reply from Ottawa-CPP: that's what they replied:

"Please note that your case has been transferred from Buffalo to the CPP-Ottawa office and is currently in the process of being reviewed by an officer.
Our office will communicate with you, should further information be required. "

Any idea what kind of review they are talking about? I will really appreciate your input.

Ur b/g & security seems to be cleared, while ur spouse's might be ongoing or they haven't yet logged. That response from CPP suggests ur file is 'in queue'... pls give it some more time... u r almost there.

U've a 2-yrs wait queue. Ur file'd recommence processing around 3rd qtr of this yr. There'd be no point contacting ur MP.

when i enquired 2 times over cse,they replied that under review and awaiting review by VO.

in gcms note,eligibility all passed.security,criminality not started...they completed verification of my educational documents and updated status on 02.03.2012.

they have initiated one enquiry on 17.02.2012..that result not updated in gcms..
