I have applied in 0ct-11 got per in just one day on oct -11 got per from NDVO on 15/11/2011 my ecas status shows that in process and we have received your application on "XXXX" But then after nothing happen i have applied under NOC 7216 I am working with Indian Railway as a engineer and confirm govt job from last 13 years.Is Government job affect my case or whats the reason i am not getting Medical because I have seen many guys who updated their details that they get medical in just 3-4- or 5 months in my case nearly five month passed after seconf AOR but nothing happened daily my eyes serching for mail and ECAS status but result is big ZERO..Please help me I am worried man.

I appreciate your work here,and would like to ask some questions.I applied for PR in 2008 (before that I was selected as Quebec selected immigrant). After 18 months of waiting I was called to security interview(military background as ordinary soldier during war in Bosnia in 1991). During interview I declared that I have never been involved in any kind of battle,and immigration officer told me that I will have to wait until they check my background with Ottawa(section for modern wars).I was telling them only the truth about my military service,and didn't want to hide any details because my history is completly clear. During the interview I was also told that they hope the background check will be finished by the end of 2010.Since than I always get the same e-mail answer from them: Unfortunately, we have not received the results of background checks yet.
Please, do you have any idea ,why does it take so long with Ottawa ?

Doing job in a govt. organization is not an issue. Its true there are more formalities and complexities. Background check is not only depend on your experience but also include some other factors. However, you can apply caips to find the actual update in your case. Thanks. |
