Dear Quorax

Will you please advice me about the recent changes in landing fee for NDVO applicants. As i have paid the landing fee along with my full document in Sep 10. As of now i am still waiting for medical = ppr request. Now do i have to pay the difference at the time of medical=ppr or they will consider the old amount paid to them a long time ago.

Please give me your opinion about it.

regards

As I understand, once u have paid the RPRF - u r good with it [the exch rates of that time would apply for u]. However, if they desire a cost recovery - they'd let u know. By urself there's no action required.

Dear Qorax,

Please provide some valuable explanation to my question as I am am lost.

I have completed my medicals in End aug 2011 and still I have not received my step1 PPR.

Last email I got in Feb 2012 from LVO was that your file is awaiting review by an IO and b/g checks seem to be complete.

Kindly provide me with some info regarding the delay.

Thanks a million and appreciate your reply.

It occurs with some... Their b/g & security checks take more time. Unfortunately u can't do much about it than wait. Have patience & pray.

Hello,
My case moved from Bufflo to Seattle in Dec 2011. Now Seattle is asking for medical and Police certificates from India and USA in 90 days. We have submitted these certificates earlier and it is very painful to get them again. Can we avoid this?

Secondly how much time it takes to get PR after this step.

Please reply

1. U cannot avoid it... fetch ur PCCs asap & submit them to ur IO. W/out which u r looking towards enormous & unnecessary delays.
2. Usually it'd be 3-4 months from the meds.

Hi Qorax.

I just want to ask you about our CAIPS (taken last Feb) in relation to background checks.  Our CAIPS mentioned that our MED STAGE is MO1 (for for persons) and our SEC CRIM is passed.  Is there more background check to be done for us? The BDEC is still blank.  Our BFD is November 16, 2011.  I think immigration issues are currently delaying our processing.  We are just awaiting our PPR.  How long should the background check be made?  It has already been 6 mos from our medicals.   I hope you can explain it to me.  Thank you very much.  Grin

U should be getting ur PPR soon. If not by 7-months, shoot them a query.
