We have touched this many times over.

CIO performs only a cursory check [note: Not Scrutiny]. They check ur apps for correct filing [under an NOC of the 29] and whether the apps r filled correctly with the basic supporting docs [as per the checklist]. That's it, b4 sending a PER [provisional acceptance].

It's the VO who [re]assesses ur file, does deep scrutiny [note: Scrutiny, not Check] to opine/perceive if u r Fit for further processing. At this stage they may 'reject' ur case too [happened with quite a few].

Qorax! Please attend.

Dear Qorax! ... It has been more than 4 months now that i have done my Medicals and theres no update since then. Medicals status is also NOT updated on E-CAS yet.

Since you suggested in my previous query that i should write an email to CHC London in case PPR-1 doesnt arrive after 4 months, Could you please tell me the email address on which to Send an Enquiry & if you help me with the body of email that i am supposed to send them.

Thanks for always being there Smiley

Hi Captain Qorax

How r u hope u would be fine.i want to ask u about my case.i am from pakistan and i applied in april 2010 as fsw in MI 1 and send full documents in oct-10 to london office and recievd 2nd AOR in feb-11 my profession was accountant 1111 which is not in 29 occupations this time.i want ur suggestion that when can i get medical request and at what stage i can be clear that my case is aproved or there r less chances of rejection.i have heard that after 2nd AOR there are very less chances of rejection until there is problem in medical.is that true.and my status is in process does it means that visa officer is satisfied with work expereince and other things or there is still a chance of rejection.

DEAR MR QORAX PLEASE REPLY

Thank you so much for you help. I just ordered my CAIPS notes for the second time. My first notes stated that my  BFD was Jan 2, 2012 and second notes states that the next BFD is Jan 21 which is a Saturday.
I have applied in June 2009. Done with my medicals on Oct 25, 2011. My medicals are assessed as M01 on Nov 7, 2011, and in the only status inquiry I sent to London CHC (Jan 16, 2012) they said that my file is under routine background check.   My questions
Q1: Is there any significance of having the second BFD almost 20 days after the first one?
Q2: In my caips sec crim is 1? Does this mean that my B/G check is over?

Waiting for your kind rep

1. On 02/1/12 a staff had checked ur file, found it complete & marked it for the IO's review on 21/1/12 [being Sat, it'd be now opened on the next available date].

2. SECCRIM-1 denotes that ur PPCs were verified & accepted. It doesn't suggest that ur security checks r complete... that's SDEC.

3. IMS = Immigration Medical Section, Ottawa [they 'second' our med results, only then our files goes to PHEP section, for PRV issuance].
