Hi,
Anything could happen even after this statement in your ecas. You could also be asked for interview as it happened in my case.

1. Someone answered u on that [in another thread] very correctly.
2. Lately e-Cas was known to be erratic -- up-gradation was the cause.
3. This is possible to happen when we run 2 parallel case files, with diff addresses.
4. Yes - they r working on your case.

hello Qorax,

My case status is In Process, I submitted additional document on 3 sept & was received by VO (Buffalo) on 7th Sept. 2010;
after that I did not hear any thing from VO. Last time (in Sept. 2010), when I contacted you, you suggested that nothing happens in weeks in VO and I would need to wait for months. That has proved true, but I am not sure how many months?

as per my caips (in nov. 2010), my BFD was 25th Dec, a holiday, and I assumed that, that BFD is just for formality as no one works on National Holiday. Most of people who applied with me or have got 2nd AOR in Aril 2010; have already got medical request or PPR.

I am still waiting for medical request. Any clue / suggestion, how much more time I would need to wait? I understand that there is no upper limit & it could take much more time, but would it be years or year?

thanks....

1. With every ADR we should add another 4-5 months to our timeframe.
2. With the BF'D falling on a holiday - they'd open it on the next working day.
3. U should expect something in the next couple of months.

Hi Qorax,

Can we assume that background checks commence as soon as the application is in process? I had made a mistake in bank draft amount, and they had sent a reply to a case specific enquiry saying that the bank draft with correct amount must be sent in order to further process the file. Can you please explain what steps are pending on VO. I had submitted my meds on 29 march and DD was encashed on May 3, 2011. Is it possible that they issue the visa within a month.

Please shed your knowledge on this matter.

Thanks in advance.
