Hi Qorax

1. How are the applications processed when the limit for a NOC has been reached for the year.
2. Is there a quota for pre 26/6 applicants? How are these assessed for an NOC that are not present in the latest NOC list?

Thanks

1. The current Cap System [post 6/26] isn't applicable to the old cases. Thus, reaching the cap doesn't effect them.
2. Every VO has an Annual Quota - which plays havoc during the yr.end [around Oct/Nov onwards] - processing gets slow... & many get called by early next yr.

Dear Qorax,

My 2nd baby born 0n 24 apr 10
New doc & Bank drfat sent on 7 oct 10
In process from 2nd dec 10
Sent case specific enquary to Singapore 21 jan 11
They replied on 26 jan 11 regarding encahment prob of new draft. I sent new draft on 27 jan 11 which they received on 31 Jan 11 (according to Aramex).
Will it delay my case further? Should I send a mail to VO?

Eagerly waiting for your valuable opinion.

Thanks

Qorax

Qorax,

Thanks for your prompt reply. The reason I had asked this was because the PS NOC (From CAIPS) is no longer in the new list. Moreover, SEL NOC is 2283 (which is not in the FSW1 category). I am wondering if this is a matter of concern. If they won't assess my application under PS NOC then my application would definitely not be fast tracked.

I have a BFD date as 06-01-2011 with the following parameters:
PSDEC      0
BDEC        0
OREQ       0
SELDEC    0
MEDDEC   0
FINDEC     0

The E-CAS system is displaying the status as "In Process" since Feb 15, 2011. However, the details as still the same as "Received by the Visa Office". As you can see from the CAIPS notes, even PSDEC is 0. Why display the status as "In Process" when they have actually not yet started reviewing the file !! I was wondering if the PS NOC and SEL NOC has to do anything with this delay. At this point I can just wait as I have been doing since Jan 2010 (Initial Application to CIO)

Any suggestions would be helpful.
By the way, You have a apt signature !!

Thanks

Pls give it a couple of months from the resending of draft for anything to occur.

1. What is the PS NOC & SEL NOC that u r referring to?
2. 'in process' means the file in under b/ground checks -- doesn't mean that it is completed. It takes a while to return those codes.

Qorax

There is a section called "IMMIGRANT ASSESMENT RECORD SUMMARY" in the CAIPS notes I received. PS NOC and SEL NOC are two fields in that section. The points are also recorded in this section. I had started my career under an NOC which is captured in the PS NOC. I have moved on in my career and now my current occupation is represented by SEL NOC (2283)

I have 10 points for the 'Age' and the points for the rest of the parameters are 0. So I was wondering how the file would be in process when even the points are not calculated. I think the BDEC would be after PSDEC.

Any idea how long I would have to wait before the 'IMM 1017S requested' parameter is not blank?

Thanks

Guys, if the FBI charges your credit card (for US background checks?), does that mean your fingerprints are okay and they're processing them? Or is there still a chance they'll be rejected?

You have to pay the fee for processing the fingerprint. The fact that they have charged ur CC is an indication that they have begun the processing. It is a sheet indicating if you have any arrest records. If u have a record then it is indicated on the report. Else there would be a line "No Arrest Record". You will probably get the same in about 2 months from the time they charge ur CC

If the fingerprints are not taken as per the FBI guidelines, then they might request for new ones. I do not know if they will reject them outright in this scenario.it is better to send atleast a couple of copies to show that the prints are consistent.

Hi Cameraeye,
Your caip notes results are similar to mine. My BF'D was 22.1.2011 and the caip notes were retrieved on  the 13th of January, so i am planning to order Caips again in April to see what work was done on my file.
I  am a 2009 applicant, still waiting for medicals.

When was your BF'D?.

Cheers.

n verification call to the firm ( 24 FEB 2011)i am working the call was attended by the the marketing guy of the firm who comes once in a week.
(he told that i work in computer department as i sit on computer.)

well now the VO people from delhi has sent me letter saying that they have grounds to say that my employment letters are not genuine.

they have also stated that i am misrepresenting my  documents or materials . So the section 40(1)a is applicable as well as 40(2). OF IMMIGRATION AND REFUGEE PROTECTION ACT

Above that they have given me 30 days time to explain the above matter.

NOW  please help with some kind of info :- like which documents will help to prove my designation in the firm.

i have got letters in  which the word finance manager comes but the firm wont be providing me with those documents.
