BACK UP OF OUR FORUM ??

Dear forum members,
I dont know why but this thing came to my mind, so I am asking it howsoever foolish it may sound...
As we all are aware that this forum is loved by many and most of us are glued to it for a substantial part of the day !!
Now having said that, this forum caters to the need of many friends and is a wealth of information which we rely upon...
As we all know that this site is maintained by David Cohen , the Immigration Lawyers, and we are just discussion board members posting our views..
My knowledge on Internet hosting is not that great, but i have the below mentioned questions :-
Lets suppose I like a few threads and get back to them again and again to check for info...
Now I know that these threads are saved as database on David Cohen's site...God forbid, David's server gets reset or fails or has some snag and results in an unexpected behaviour which may eventually delete the sticky threads which we refer quite often and also the threads which we love...
IMAGINE what will we do??
is it wise to take an electronic back up or print the threads which we like for refering to the info at later stage if required??
OR
Shall we rest assured that all this wealth of information stored here on our loved forum is SAFE ??

I fully trust their admin to back up their servers but if you want to make your own copies of your favourite posts, you should.  The information does however get outdated after several years.  Links die because the urls get changed.  Immigration classes are discontinued and new ones replace them.  Requirements change etc. etc.

But i feel that there will never be a revamp of the whole procedure in General and that the basic process remains the same barring a few changes here and there !!
As regards URL's, govt. sites rarey are shifted to new addresses...
And about the reliability on Admin. to maintain proper back up and deploy data retrieval mechanisms in case of any failure of the server, i feel that we should not entirely have a blind faith on site admin. for that.
Now, as u said, it sounds logical to make copies of favorite posts just in case....
I invite the views of other expert users and senior forum members for this debatable topic !!
