I have a 7 month child that doesn't have a passport by himself, but added to his mom's passport. In the application it asks if the child as valid passport or travel permit, should I say yes and input mom's passport details or what?

The answer is no.The  data on ur passport are yours and not his and this is permanent residency we r talking about. So as long as u r including ur child in ur application,u hv to get a valid passport for him.if u hv followed this forum closely,u wud hv read of cases where even newborn's passport are needed So to be on a safe side,try and get a passport for ur son because that will be his only valid means of identification for now.

Apply for child passport ASAP, His moms passport will not work....

You need to sort apply for your baby's passport soon and get it updated with your Visa Office

Thank you for the reply. But my son is legally added to his mom's passport. There's no way I'll make it in the cap as to issue a new passport takes months!!
