Dear Members,

My baby born in Canada and my file is under process for final review. Is it necessary to send information about birth to CHC at this stage.

What document I need to send to CHC. Passport or Birth Certificate or Both.

just the birth certificate and a cover letter, although it doesnt matter if your baby is a canadian citizen but it can help VO determining development of your relationship with your spouse!

Original or Certified copy of birth certificate
Cover letter but remain to write your File#, DOB and name.

you are not suppose to send any originals unless requested by CHC!

certified copy will be sufficient!

Thanks to all. On Monday I am going to fax certified copy of Birth certificate with cover letter.

I had a baby during our application and our application was a spousal sponsorship inland application and cic told me we didn't need to because they child is Canadian and they are not going to be added to the application. Our application is finalized now. Good luck!
