Avoid Dr Chmiel Boguslaw- Chicago DMP

Word of caution for those who are planning to do medicals  with this doctor. Nobody picks up the phone in his office. He keeps saying he will send the reports soon. Then you call again and nobody picks up. It has been frustrating experience. Anybody else having same issue please let me know.

Exactly!  I had same extremely terrible experience with our respected DMP Dr. Chmiel at Chicago.  It took two months (60 days!!!) for him to send my file to Ottawa.  Although I haven't been 100% sure that he did send out my file finally, I would trust him this time, because I have no other choice!

I am also in the same situation but with a different doctor (Matthew Blustein) in Halifax, NS. I have no idea why many people complain but those doctors are still in service.

A friend of mine went to meet Chmiel Boguslaw today. According to him all the July people who did thier medicals have  been sent. he still have bunch of August people  and people are still coming to him for doing their medicals.....Oh my God!!!!!

How come people are still doing their medicals with him, do they not google and see any reviews. Each month Dr Boguslaw does medical for....... by conservative estimate 25-30 applicants. I can say that because I saw the pile of applications for May and June when I went there. If we can make a dent in that, only that will be a true achievement.

And kudos to people who sent complain fax to Ottawa. Dr Boguslaw did get a knock on his door from Ottawa as my friend told me. He had to explain why the medicals are getting delayed. But I donot expect anythng more in one stroke.

Any one who sent complain to Ottawa, did you hear anything back from them. I did not.

Could you please share your timeframe?  About the complaint at Ottawa, when I called a nice lady talked with me over the phone.  When I mentioned our respected Dr. Chmiel's name, I pronounced in a wrong way.  She immediately corrected me and I even heard her "sigh."  Apparently, this doctor impressed her deeply.  Otherwise, she would have to ask me spell the name and his clinic location.  Anyway, I did agree that we need to make a blacklist for future applicants!

Looks like this is the issue with other DMPs as well. They make this substantial income out of the would be immigrants to Canada and give them horrendous time.

I did the same thing, faxing Ottawa at the beginning of August. I believe, if all of us who had DMP experience can post here everyday, this thread will be more and more popular and always be at the top of the Forum discussion list. Yes, you're right! A professional DMP is essential to applicants, especially to those who have waited for years. Anyhow, I would like to share my thoughts here to the future applicants. Please apply for a visitor visa and go to Ottawa or Toronto to take the medical exam which will be more efficient for you to go through the whole procedure.

we did our exam with chmiel in Jan 2011, and he still has not sent it out yet (June 21.2011)!!!! after over 5 months!! we received a letter from the regional office stating that if we do not take action within 60days, we would get rejected. we tried to get hold of him and he is not readily available and always promise to mail it out tomorrow after tomorrow. We contacted the regional office to obtain another set of forms for another exam but no reply yet. what is wrong with this old guy? no sense of trust, responsibility, or professionalism. what shall we do? help!!!!

Thats correct justinline. Please start a new thread advising people to avoid these sick doctors who need medical treatment for themselves.
