autorization to return to canada

Hi guys, i got an email from my VO about i need autorization to return to canada, but i am confused because when i was in canada  i was as refugee claimant and i got my departure order an i left on time, but when my husband and me filled up our sponsorship documents we wrote i got deportation order and noooo, we were confused because we didnt know the difference between deportation and departure order i will scan my departure order that they gave me to send it to my vo, i did everything on time, everything what they said i was on time. i am worried i have to apply for this autorization but how long is gonna take, they will autorize me or not???
please advices people who knows how apply please helppp!!!!
